Lead Routing

5. Lead Routing (For HubSpot & Sales Force)

If you want leads to be automatically assigned to the card holder on your CRM there’s a couple of additional steps you need to take. This will ensure a more seamless process for the lead routing.

HubSpot Lead Routing

First, make sure that all of team card holders are part of your CRM user list with enough privileges to be contact or lead owners. Then go back to your existing integration and pause, so you can edit it.

Next, you need to add an additional action between the trigger and the existing action.

To do so, click on the plus sign and select ‘Action’

A new menu will pop-up, for you to add a new action. Select HubSpot and then ‘Search for owner by Email’.

On the next menu add the ‘Email (Acquired by)’ as the Owner email. Make sure to save this to add this action.

Next, click the  ⚙  icon on the original action (‘Create Contact’) and find the ‘Contact Owner’ field. This time you should see a HubSpot dropdown list, click on it and select ‘Owner ID’.

Save it and start your integration. By following these steps you’ll be able to properly route your leads so that the card holder automatically becomes the contact owner on HubSpot.
